Charles Sainsbury-Plaice is a photographer of country life in the UK and has travelled worldwide.
Over the past 3 decades Charles has photographed for many of the leading sporting publications including The Field Magazine, Country Life Magazine, Fieldsports Magazine, Horse & Hound, Tatler and The Sunday Telegraph. Subject areas have included Country Sports, Polo, Horse Racing, Food and Farming and Pets. Also contributing to a number of books including England on Horseback, A year for Discovery, Adams Farm and Harmony. In 2022 Charles was one of two photographers chosen to photograph the 70 ancient trees and 70 ancient woods to commemorate the reign of Queen Elizabeth II for The Queen's Green Canopy. Charles's work has been exhibited at Sotheby's (London), The King John (Tollard Royal), Daylesford and The Tree Art Gallery Upcoming works will be exhibited at The Sidney Nolan Trust and The Ridgebank Gallery in Kington as part of The Hogback Hills art project.
